A friend was explaining her upcoming trip to the Galapagos islands with her neighbour( from Balfour) as their tour guide. You fly to Quito, then hop aboard a catamaran and do the islands of this great archipelago, where wildlife abounds like no where else on earth. Once off the catamaran, you tour by seakayak, by horseback, by hiking, and by snorkling to see tons of bird and fish species, not to mention great tortoises... All sounds beautifully organized. Sounds like a dream trip for the adventursome who love the beauty of crystal clear waters where you can observe manta rays and sharks, and who are stoked by the thought of seeing a gurgling live volcano...
