The Eagles are calling it home!

Three Eagles have taken up residence in the cottonwoods at the bottom of our property
and cause quite a raucus with the other birds. In this pic below, two of them flew off when I approached

The third one that had been squawking like a chicken took a dive into the shallow part of the lake and came up empty handed( taloned)

He looked wet and disappointed after he returned to the tree.

Posted by Picasa The debate amongst the neighbours goes on...Is he an immature bald eagle or is it a Golden eagle? This guy looked like an immature amature to me!

Beautiful Irises all Abloom

These are magnificint babies called Full Tide..perfectly periwinkle

Blue Stuccato

Don't recall this one off hand

And this golden one is Super Simian ...just starting out. I thought I had lost it in my garden transition, but here it is...Yea! Those are my dying poppies in behind. They are called Watermelon...same ones as in the photo on my Header

Visit from Jason

A nice surprise on Saturday...a visit from Jason... the youngest son of our former neighbour in Prince George...Oh my...he is all grown up now and a handsome young man who is into triathalons now.. and a lot of mountain and road biking.

He enjoyed the area so much, he would like to get himself a little summer house around here now.

You can see how high the water is and it is supposed to come up some more

Where Emil and Jason is standing is where all the geese hang out every morning...not to mention 2 beautiful golden eagles that have been kicking around!
