Pilot Bay outing...

The view as you leave Pilot BAy

Many boats were moored up to the numerous buoys available in Pilot BAy

A latecomer, looking for a berth...

Heading south east, following the railroad tracks

The train trestles...built in 1935

Nothing like a game of crib to pass the time

Finally a dip in the bay...it was under ten feet deep here

Kaleigh bobbed along without a lifejacket...listening to her ipod in its water -proof case...that Auntie Annette bought her

Takingthe beauty all in during our boat ride down the lake today

Checking out the train trestles

Don't know where the smoke was originating from, but it was pretty hazy. Sometimes the Idaho farmers burn their fields and smoke us out.

We anchored out in Pilot BAy and enjoyed the playful suckers that surrounded the boat...and some people that we met also!
The day ended witha bonfire on the beach ,toasting marshmellows and making schmores. How perfect was that? Both us, and our sweet grandaughters, had a great summer day...one to make memories from.
