I've heard that locally someone was bit by one of these Hobo spiders and their leg is a terrible mess. In fact if they hadn't got onto antibiotics , things could have become tragic. These spiders are not native, but have been introduced from Europe and seem to be found around Seattle and other parts of the PAcific Nothwest and Canada... See one? Don't get too close as it can attack! It is an aggresive spider.
