Anne, Auntie Mary and Donna
Thank-you Joyce for passing along these nice photos. Auntie looks great and soooo happy to see her neices. I wish I had of been off to go for the ride, myself. Anne stayed up hours the night before making pytahee...yum, yum! Makes me want to cook some up...but I don't think that will happen. After their visit, the cousins all went for a dip int he hotsprings at Nakusp... a nice way to end the day. Joyce says it opens at 1:00 and Wednesday is half price,- a good time to go!

HealthLink BC Home Page

Here is a good website for H1N1 information and a flu checker, if you are coming down with flu like symptoms. You can call 811 24 hours a day to talk to a nurse..
In the meantime ,wash your hands lots, keep them away from your face, eyes and mouth, and stear clear of anyone who has had it, for 7 days as that is how long it is contagious .

Visit with Noah

Here he is with Grandma getting a few photography lessons!

Think I'll crawl in...looks like bed to me!

Silky wasn't all that thrilled

Noah playing with his new educational toy... Quick...How many blocks altogether?

John and Ronda brought Noah over early so he could walk down to the beach and play in the water. In the meantime,Cal took his mom, Mataya up for an airplane ride over Nelson and right over Kokanee glacier and over our house. After her fab airplane ride, she caught a ride home with me. Supper was mostly cooked and within a short while we all sat down to dinner. By then, I think everyone was starved... Even cute little Noah made short work of his dinner, eating pretty much all that was on his plate and a slice of bread to boot... He is so cute!

Nova Scotia Restaurants | Cuisine | Dining | Lobster Season

Nova Scotia Restaurants Cuisine Dining Lobster Season
Just honing up on my Nova Scotia trivia in case Annette winds up there in the future!
Looks like there is much in the way of tasty seafood there... I'd be mostly interested in those Digby Scallops or a plate of fresh lobster... Yum!

Party at Ron and Phoebe's and a Big Surprise!

Saturday ,Ron and Phoebe's turned into Party Central to welcome back Mataya and Noah and , I learned later, to celebrate Phoebe's 81st birthday which occurs on the 20th... Happy early Birthday Phoebe! Sorry I didn't get a photo of you... You were working too hard in your beautiful new kitchen!
As, usual, the whole clan gathered and John and Ronda had brought MAtaya and Noah down from Vernon. By 1:00 the house was full!
But not everyone arrived, as you will see! It was a day of surprise that made the whole event very special! Sadly we couldn't stay for the whole party, but we did get to say hello to everyone and to see little Noah, who is as cute as a button!

Noah and his 2nd cousin? Maddie...

Lawrence and Lori
...good to see them and all of Lori's earrings!

Mataya, Noah, Maddie and her grandpa, Wayne

Then ,all at once, we were called to the back deck to see what was out in the back yard!

Looky -Looky...SasQuatch and Gorilla Boy in Ron and Phoebe's under the trees!

Surprise... It was Jami and Josh all dressed up to fool us! What a great joke on all of us...except those who knew all about it!

Hugs and laughter all around!

And yes, we all came to see Noah. Here he is with Grandpa... and was he the cutest of the two... you bet!
